"My late mother was acknowledged as a phenomenal cook & baker. Each Christmas we looked forward to her amazing fruitcakes. Unfortunately, we did not write down the recipe, because so much labor & expense were involved. It really was a labor of love. When she passed, we figured that was the end of her amazing fruitcakes. We tried just about every fruitcake we could find in stores and on line - none comparing to hers. We remembered Sunnyland farms & ordered theirs. Miracle of miracle, it was astonishingly close to hers in appearance, taste, & texture. We have ordered several over the past few years and enjoyed them immensely.
