I Finally Found the Fruitcake my Mom Used To Make!

"It was one of the highlights of the Christmas season. My mom making ""her"" fruitcake which was the same recipe as HER mom's. I watched her during the entire process and it was truly a prized fruitcake to beat no other. She didn't drink alcohol so instead of red wine she used grape juice. When I say your description of using grape juice, that's what convinced me to try your DARK fruit cake. Well, I nearly cried when I took my first bite. It took me back to those days when I was a child and watching my mom make her fruitcake. The spices and grape juice were the key ingredients. While you can't possibly come close to the LOVE she baked into it, you have captured the exact taste of my mom's fruitcake. My search is over and there is nothing that comes close to your dark Pecan Fruitcake. Anyone out there who is wondering or questioning whether this will be good, believe me it will!!! And to Sunnyland Farms, thank you and don't ever stop making it!!"
