What a century looks like tested
Hurricane Michael... In the fall of 2018, a hurricane made landfall in Southwest Georgia. Our groves suffered a catastrophic loss when 4,200 trees were destroyed across the Willson Farming Co. groves.
COVID-19 Pandemic... The worldwide pandemic left no business unaffected. Sunnyland Farms was faced with supply chain disruption and how to continue to employ our workforce, some wtih 45 years of tenure, during the most uncertain of times.
Thanksgiving Day 2022 Fire... In the middle of our busiest season, our farm kitchen caught on fire destroying a key production facility. Sunnyland Farms leadership sought out community resources and our team leaned on one antoher as we pivotted to continue production and shipping.
