Crunchy Almond Asparagus

Sliced almonds add a perfect crunch to accompany fresh asparagus. With a little preparation, quickly make a satisfying vegetable side.

Ingredients

  • 1lb asparagus
  • Drizzle olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 cup of sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Heat 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil on a skillet over medium-high heat
  2. Add asparagus and cook for 5-8 minutes
  3. Remove from heat when tender
  4. Let cool and cover with sliced almonds
