Crunchy Almond Asparagus

Sliced almonds add a perfect crunch to accompany fresh asparagus. With a little preparation, quickly make a satisfying vegetable side.
Ingredients
- 1lb asparagus
- Drizzle olive oil
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 cup of sliced almonds
Instructions
- Heat 1-2 tablespoons of olive oil on a skillet over medium-high heat
- Add asparagus and cook for 5-8 minutes
- Remove from heat when tender
- Let cool and cover with sliced almonds
