Sunnyland has an assortment of dried fruits for you to enjoy.  Our Glace Apricots are one of the most delightful treats we have ever offered.  They are delicious by themselves but when we dip them in our chocolate it takes the taste to another level.  We offer our Glace Apricots in an our Sunnyland gift box with 24 of our soft, sweet and delicious treats. If you want a few more for less money, then our home box is for you. It contains 27 of these tree-ripened, then soaked in sugar-sweet syrup for a perfect desert is a wonderful option.

Next is our Naturally Sun-Dried Apricots. Our Apricots are California-grown and are hand -graded just for Sunnyland. We only get the best of the crop for you, our customers.  They are tart yet sweet and delicious. In our Sunnyland gift box, you get 1lb 5 oz worth of Apricots. For a few more dollars you can get our home box with 2 lbs.  4 oz of Apricots.

If you like a blend of dried fruits, then try our Fruit Compote. We have paired the best dried Peaches, Pears, Pitted Prunes with everyone’s favorite sun-dried Apricots. Chewy and delicious goodness for sure.

If would like to create your own combination of dried fruits, our Mix & Match bags give you several options to try from. We have Dried Apricots, Glace’ Apricots, Medjool Dates, Deglet Noor Dates, Dark Mission Figs, Dark Flame Raisins, Golden Raisins, Fruit Compote, Dried Peaches, Dried Pears and Pitted Prunes. Three or more to one address will give you endless combinations.

If you like smoothies like my family does, give any of our dried fruits a try. One of my brother’s favorites is the fruit compote.

Recipe

Option 1

  • 1/4 cup Fruit Compote
  • 1/2 cup Lactose Free Milk/Almond Milk or Soy Milk
  • Cinnamon (season to taste)
  • Fresh Ginger (season to taste)
  • Ice

Option 2

  • 1/4 cup Fruit Compote
  • 1/2 cup Milk of Choice
  • 1 tablespoon of Almond Butter, Pecan Butter or Cashew butter
  • Cinnamon (season to taste)
  • Fresh Ginger (season to taste)
  • Ice

Option 3

  • 1/4 cup Fruit Compote
  • 1/2 cup of Orange Juice (juice of your choice)
  • 1/4 cup of Carrots
  • 1/4 cup of Kale/Spinach
  • 1 tablespoon of Almond, Cashew or Pecan Butter
  • Cinnamon (season to taste)
  • Fresh Ginger (season to taste)
  • Ice

There is an added benefit of using Cinnamon and Ginger Root in your smoothie, in addition to adding flavor. By adding cinnamon to your smoothie, you are getting the anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. It also contains antioxidants that help with inflammation. It can Reduce your blood pressure and lower your blood sugar levels along with improving your gut health. Ginger Root has some similar benefits as Cinnamon. It too helps lower you blood pressure.  Ginger root is a good source to aid in improving your mental sharpness.  These combinations will benefit your taste buds as well as your health.

Mix Fruit Compote, Milk choice/juice choice, cinnamon and ginger in blender and add ice to your liking. Add more to make consistency thicker and less if you like your smoothie thinner constituency.
