Our Guarantee

As a family-owned business, Sunnyland Farms fully and unconditionally guarantees each package we ship. If a package is lost or damaged, we will replace the package or refund your money within 30 days of being received.

Shipping FAQs

What if my package is delayed?
If your package is delayed, extend a grace period of 2- 3 days before deeming shipment missing or stolen. After the grace period passes, call Customer Care to request a replacement or refund.
What if a package is marked delivered but not received?
Check all entrances to see if shipment was left in an unusual place. Review tracking information sent to your email and review delivery photos submitted by the delivery person. Consider checking with neighbors to see if the package was delivered to the wrong address. After 24 hours, call Customer Care and we will send a replacement for the missing shipment.
Do you ship internationally?
No. We ship to all 50 states and Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands. Orders to Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands must be shipped USPS Priority. The only exceptions for international shipments are those going to APO & FPO military addresses.
Do you ship to military addresses?
Yes. We ship to APO & FPO addresses by USPS. USPS does NOT guarantee expedited shipping to military bases.
Can I expedite shipping- for an additional fee?
Shipping can be expedited for a 30% surcharge. Expedited shipping options include UPS Expedited Delivery or USPS Priority Mail.
How do I receive a gift certificate?
Gift certificates are digitally delivered to the email address provided at checkout. If no email is provided, the gift certificate is physically delivered by USPS.

Shipping Policy

Sunnyland Farms ships products to all contiguous 48 states, Hawaii, and Alaska; as well as U.S. territories Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands. Our products are delivered via UPS or USPS. UPS only delivers to physical addresses. USPS delivers to physical addresses and P.O. Boxes. You will receive an email the day after your order ships with tracking information.

Shipping is free for all products shipped UPS Ground or USPS Ground. For all orders requested to ship UPS Expedited Delivery or USPS Priority Mail, a 30% charge is added to cover shipping costs.

We only ship USPS Priority Mail to Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands. There is a shipping cost of 30 % added to shipments to Guam, Puerto Rico, and Virgin Islands to cover USPS Priority Mail delivery charge.

Alaska orders can ship through USPS and UPS.

  • UPS Expedited Delivery to a physical address with a 30% surcharge and a 3 to 5 day delivery window.
  • USPS Priority Mail to a P.O. box with a 30% surcharge and a 7 to 10 day delivery window.
  • USPS Standard Ground to a P.O. box with no charge and a 21 day or longer delivery window.

Hawaii orders must ship through USPS Priority Mail or UPS Expedited Delivery, both with a 30 % surcharge.

  • UPS Expedited Delivery can deliver orders to Hawaii as quick as 3 to 5 days, depending on weather.
  • USPS Priority Mail delivers orders to Hawaii in 7 to 10 days, depending on weather.

Shipping Windows

Orders placed by 3PM ET typically ship the same day, orders placed after 3PM are shipped on the next business day.

We ship chocolates from mid-October to Mother’s Day.

Raw pecans are unavailable from September 1 until the new crop is harvested in October. Harvest dates vary from year to year. The new raw pecan crop is typically available by mid-October.

During peak UPS Season (November & December) 2 day shipping CANNOT be guaranteed- it commonly takes 2-3 business days.

For holiday orders refer to our Holiday Order Cut-Off Dates calendar to choose a recommended shipping method for guaranteed holiday delivery.

We offer deferred or scheduled shippings for holidays and gifts. Our shipping team schedules those shipments to guarantee your package arrives 1-2 days before the date you chose at checkout to accommodate for delays. Shipping Restrictions

Chocolates cannot be shipped between Mother’s Day and mid-October due to the perishable product melting in transit during warmer weather months. Sunnyland Farms Chocolates are paraffin-free making the chocolate both higher quality and less melt-resistant. We currently do NOT use cool packs in our shipping.

Raw pecans are unavailable for purchase from September 1 to mid-October, due to the time period being peak pecan harvest season.

In-shell pecans CANNOT ship to California and Arizona. This restriction is a state law mandated by California and Arizona to protect local agriculture from the possibility of pest infestation.

Pies CANNOT be shipped to Puerto Rico or Virgin Islands. Orders shipped to Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands are shipped USPS Priority Mail to a physical address or P.O. Boxes. We cannot guarantee freshness of pies once they are delivered to P.O. Boxes.

Refunds and Replacements

As a family-owned business, Sunnyland Farms fully and unconditionally guarantees each package we ship. If a package is lost or damaged, we will replace the package or refund your money within 30 days of delivery.

To Report Missing or Damaged Packages follow these steps:

  1. Contact customer service at (800) 999-2488 or customercare@sunnylandfarms.net
  2. Provide your order number for a representative to verify the package and delivery issue.
  3. Expect replacement to be processed within 24 to 48 hours or refund to be processed within 24 to 48 hours.

We do NOT accept returns as a company that delivers perishable products. Instead of returning products please donate to a local food shelter or pantry.

Missing or damaged packages must be reported within 30 days of delivery. Missing or damaged packages will be replaced with the exception of all raw pecans. Replacement can be expected within 5-7 business days of approval.

If customer chooses a refund, refunds will be issued through the same method payment was received (eg. Payment via credit card, refund via credit card). Refunds can be expected within 5-7 business days of approval.

Store credit is given for refunds under $20 or for customers who prefer to receive store credit as opposed to a refund.

UPS Ground and USPS Ground shipping is free, therefore a shipping charge is not included in the amount of refund or store credit. If an order was placed with expedited shipping, the 30 % surcharge will be refunded or given as store credit.
