Georgia Grove Pecan Pie

These measurements are for one pie filling.

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or butter extract
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup dark KARO syrup
  • 2 cups Pecan Pieces

Instructions

  1. Beat eggs slightly
  2. Add sugar, corn syrup, salt, *melted butter and vanilla.
  3. Blend well and do not overbeat.
  4. Pour pecan pieces into pie crust
  5. Pour custard/pie filling over pecans in a 9 inch pie crust
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes
