Georgia Grove Pecan Pie
Instructions
These measurements are for one pie filling.
Ingredients
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or butter extract
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup dark KARO syrup
- 2 cups Pecan Pieces
Instructions
- Beat eggs slightly
- Add sugar, corn syrup, salt, *melted butter and vanilla.
- Blend well and do not overbeat.
- Pour pecan pieces into pie crust
- Pour custard/pie filling over pecans in a 9 inch pie crust
- Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes
