HONEY BROWNIES
4 Tbsp. butter
4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
4 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sugar 1 cup honey
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. sifted flour
1 cup Sunnyland Small Pecan Pieces
Melt butter and chocolate over low heat in a heavy saucepan. Beat eggs and salt in mixing bowl until thick and pale yellow. Add sugar and honey gradually, beating until mixture is light in texture. Add chocolate mixture and vanilla; stir in flour; add nuts.
Pour mixture into a 9”x9” pan; bake at 325° for 45 min., or until done. Cut into squares when cool. Yield: about 16 brownies.
