Spring has come to South West Georgia and a warm spring it is. Mornings in the mid to upper 50's with afternoon temperatures reaching near 90. Perfect weather!
Pecan trees are full with lush green leaves. There is a good crop of catkin - the male pollen bearer. A good sign of prospects for next fall. And you can find the female flower, if you know how and where to look. They're still so small you have to search. But they are there, we're happy to say. So far a very promising season shaping up.
As always we are busy packing and shipping. So many people have discovered how delicious nuts and dried fruits and candies and baked goods are all year long that we'll be cooking and toasting and baking and packing and shipping every business day.
